Couple's Engagement Session in Dothan, Alabama

There’s something so special about an engagement session, and this one is extra special to me! Catherine is my childhood friend’s sister, so getting to capture this season for her and Mikey felt incredibly full circle. Watching someone you’ve known for years step into such a meaningful chapter of life is something I never take lightly.

They have such an electric energy together that translated so effortlessly on camera. From the very beginning, their connection felt natural and unforced.  My approach to their session was centered around movement and genuine interaction, and they embraced that completely.

We chose a private field in Dothan, Alabama for their session, and it couldn’t have fit them better. The tall grass and natural atmosphere created the perfect setting for a relaxed evening shoot. Dothan has so many understated, beautiful locations for engagement photos, and this spot is one of my favorites for couples who want something timeless and organic.
