The Location Guide
I’m so excited for the opportunity to work together. Here are my three favorite spots near or in Dothan, Alabama that I would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, natural setting.
Top Spots Near Dothan, Alabama
Location 01
This location is my most popular and a personal favorite of mine. This private land located approximately 8 miles West of Dothan is a DREAM. It's unique and set apart from anywhere else you may see photos being taken. This location is perfect for an all-natural setting with an open field containing beautiful oaks, grass, and a stunning sunset.
Location 02
The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens.
A beautiful option that you can't really go wrong with! They have several beautiful spots to take pictures like a gazebo, pond, and garden that can be so pretty! If you time it right, the flowers can be so beautiful here too! One thing to note, they do close at dark, so golden hour photos may be a challenge here.
Location 03
Troy University (Dothan Campus) has a beautiful field out front of the campus that is very open and boasts a gorgeous sunset. There's plenty of space to play around and get some lovely photos here!
If You're Down for a Little Drive...
Lake Frank Jackson Opp, Alabama
Lake Frank Jackson in Opp, Alabama is truly one of the most peaceful locations you could choose for a session. While it’s well known for its fishing and boat ramp, the surrounding park offers beautiful scenery, quiet walking areas, and a calm atmosphere that creates a relaxed experience. It’s the perfect spot for those who want a slower-paced session with a natural, laid-back feel.
One of the things that makes Lake Frank Jackson so special is the variety it offers within one location. The park features large oak trees, scenic lake views, and wooded walking trails .
The park is located approximately 40 minutes West from Enterprise and about 1 hour 45 minutes West from Dothan.
I'm always open to personal ideas or location input from you! Anything to make your session unique and true to who you are is one of my favorite things. Feel free to get creative and I can't wait to work with you to make it happen!
