Family Session in Dothan, Alabama

Sessions in this field are always a favorite of mine! When my cousin reached out to ask if I would take their family photos, I couldn’t help but say yes. They’re such a sweet family, and little Jenson was so fascinated by the camera that capturing portraits was a total breeze!

The open field provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and natural family session. The tall grasses and afternoon light created such an airy feeling, letting the focus stay on the family’s interactions and personalities. I always love sessions where the surroundings feel like part of the story. This field in particular adds so much depth and texture to the portraits without ever feeling forced.
